Really happy with the extra work they did to the slab - it's great to know we won't have to worry about it The mud is SO bad at the moment though - it's really thick and claylike This is what mister 3 looks like every single time we visit Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77368 Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 45Aug 10, 2015 3:15 pm Some more progress shots! Should do a timeline on here to keep track of everything - so far it's all happened too quickly but I think will slow down now... Least they are carrying on with other things in the meantime! Id love to see photos of your bathroom tiles as have gone with the Haven chocolate also. Building a modified version of The Sandridge through Homestead Homes. Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 48Sep 22, 2015 12:22 pm It's coming along nicely! We haven't been down there very often so when we got it seems like quite a bit has been done Our kitchen cupboards are in and I just heard that our laundry is being tiled today. I don't think the bathrooms have been done yet but they should be by the time we get down there - will take some pics of the Haven choc tiles for you! Our build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77368 Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 49Sep 24, 2015 1:58 pm How exciting! Thank you! We picked the latte traced gloss tile 200x400 for the walls with the choc haven floor tile and im so worried that I haven't made the right choice and maybe should have gone with white gloss 200x400 wall tiles!! eeeek!! I may have to make a trip to Beaumonts tomorrow to ease my mind. Building a modified version of The Sandridge through Homestead Homes. Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 50Sep 24, 2015 8:00 pm I just had a look at the latte traced gloss tile and I think they will look great! It's so hard to do selections then wait so long to actually see it come together! I was unsure about a lot of our choices but am really happy with what I've seen so far I snuck in to our house on Wed while the tiler was there and wow - a lot has happened since we were last there! I got some pics but unfortunately you can't really see the choc haven tiles very well as they are dirty and dusty. We did a bathroom Reno in our old house and used them and they are lovely though. They don't have that 'wow' impact like high gloss tiles but they are nice and a lot easier to keep clean Our build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77368 Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 51Sep 24, 2015 8:02 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Our build - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77368 Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 52Sep 24, 2015 8:04 pm So happy with how our kitchen is coming along! Building a modified version of The Sandridge through Homestead Homes. Re: Our modern country home in the beautiful Adelaide Hills! 55Sep 29, 2015 11:13 am Thanks We are so happy with how it all looks together! All of our benchtops are just laminate... Budget couldn't stretch to stone! One thing we noticed though it that the tiler didn't put in the niches that we paid extra for (in both showers). We paid for them but they weren't put in the plan so he didn't know he was supposed to do them Hopefully it doesn't cause any delays!
