Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Ben Trager Secret Harbour - Cabinets 201Oct 27, 2015 4:20 pm I have no idea where he's gone. They said they can't get hold of him, so it's just been left. He did the guest ensuite. This is what he thought was alright Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ The white tile finished a good 10mm above the feature wall tiles. I saw it straight away and phoned BTH to say I wasn't having it. It took 3 days and a fair bit a arguing but they've agreed to redo it. But in of course they can't tell me when it will be rectified. Meanwhile nothing has happened since last Monday. Better see some action this week. Just so over it all at the moment. Hope your having better luck Dongster and am nearer PCI Re: Ben Trager Secret Harbour - Cabinets 202Oct 27, 2015 4:37 pm That is atrocious! Nobody would accept that and you should not have to argue to get it fixed. I have a good tiler, been going now for 7+ weeks but he is doing a good job. Will post photos later on. I feel so sorry for you to have to see that level of quality. Good luck with getting a new tiler as I would not want him/them back onsite. Re: Ben Trager Secret Harbour - Cabinets 203Oct 27, 2015 7:44 pm Thanks Dongster. I'm glad I caught it. I'm kind of glad it as just the guest ensuite and not the master. It's floor to ceiling and can you imagine trying to get it off gyprock!!!! He didn't even start them at the same level, a few tiles in and he must've seen that it wasn't going to match up. But no, he just carried on. The weird thing is, he's left his tools there. Hoping to hear something positive tomorrow as nothing today. Re: Ben Trager Secret Harbour - Tiling finally finished 204Nov 13, 2015 5:56 pm So after tiling starting on 19th October, tiler disappearing, reappearing, disappearing again and then getting told not to come back, our tiling has finally finished. The team that took over have done a great job. Mitred edges are lovely and they tidied up after themselves, which has been a rarity lol Bathroom has a few floor tiles missing as he must've ran out and the tiling above the vanity isn't done because the benchtop isn't in yet. It's just plain old polar white. Went the same in the kitchen but didn't upgrade to silk there. Didn't see the point in the extra expense. Thanks archetto.
