Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 28, 2015 1:07 pm Curious to know why the white set doesn't seem to get applied all the way to floor in kitchens.
I've seen this in other people's photos on here and it's also occurring in our build. I know the lower kitchen cabinets backing will cover it but it just seems lazy to me unless there is a valid reason not to. Any ideas? Thanks Re: White set below cupboards 4Apr 28, 2015 2:47 pm Wouldn't it be easier for you to change your kitchen in about 20 years, if it's a bit less "built in"? I guess that if you just use the standard kick-board arrangement, the kitchen folk can do the full install; but if you apply plaster, then you have to get the plasterers/gyprockers back in after the kitchen's been installed. I should change the title to WA specific then There is no gyprock board etc...It's cement render in WA followed by the white set plaster coating. Re: WA related - White set below cupboards 9May 04, 2015 12:08 am I've wondered about this too! Beazley do you have a build thread? 2 7229 Thank you so much. This has been very helpful. We definitely wish to settle and get these people out of our life. They are trying to charge us interest on late… 7 14358 Hi, Can anyone give me approx. price for overhead cupboards. TIA 0 16641 |
