And strange about the bulkhead but good thing you contacted them. I have emailed all the mistakes so far just so I have a record, and not many of them have been fixed so will have to chase them up in the next few weeks Hopefully you get it fixed soon and it doesn't cause too many delays. Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 62May 27, 2015 9:47 pm I know nothing has happened since Sunday which is annoying. Drove past today and though maybe cornice had been done but nope. It's come to a standstill again - boo! Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 63May 27, 2015 9:49 pm Also the builder emailed me about the bulkhead yesterday, they said that it was meant to get installed yesterday but still hasn't been done. Oh well. I still reckon they forgot about it but now trying to cover their tracks Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 64May 28, 2015 1:15 pm Following your build! Our building journey: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=76935 Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 65May 28, 2015 9:34 pm Went past the build today, they've finished the white set now and all the cornices apart from the theater, living & dining are done. They were still there when I left and said it would be finished today. I wonder if they know that the builder has forgotten the bulkhead :/ I hope they don't do the kitchen lol. The builder still hasn't gotten back to us about the bulkhead situation but said lock up will be next week. Did they get your bulkhead done as well today? Finally starting my own thread..! 68May 29, 2015 10:17 am Yeah I know, the houses seem close. I grew up on a large block with heaps of room between houses. At this house we've got 3 meters between us and the neighbor so 1.5m each to the deciding fence but we dont have anyone on the other side which is north facing ours is actually one of the larger blocks for Honeywood, some of the blocks down the road are 225sqm and literally wall to wall with their neighbor. The house that you can see next to us is on 375sqm They haven't done the bulkhead yet. Patiently waiting. At least they are aware of it now. Shame they can't store it for us until we get the keys but that's okay. It will sit in its box in the lounge room till we move lol.

Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 75May 29, 2015 5:12 pm You're making great progress! It will really get exciting now as next you can expect your bath and all cabinetry! Nice layout, great elevation and its going to look sweet with that decking, and I envy your yard space! First Build, Commodore Homes, Alkimos Beach. The builder reckons the bulkhead will be done over the coming weeks and it won't affect progress. I don't know how they'll go about putting in the kitchen cabinets without the bulkhead being done but oh well. Where we are now our neighbours are practically on us too, but it has actually been the most peaceful place that we have ever been in as I think everyone has a bit more respect for each others privacy!! Great that the bulkhead is getting done, if they forgot it or not though!!
