Artificial turf recommendations? 1666Dec 08, 2015 3:31 pm Yeah the 31c ceiling is 2657 high so when you take off 16mm of flooring and a 90mm cornice it's pretty spot on for the rod being just below the cornice and the curtain just touching the floor. Unless I've done my maths wrong with his highly possible haha It depends on how you want them to sit, if you want them to bunch on the floor a bit then they probably won't be long enough unless your rod sits lower on the wall but I want them about 2mm off the floor so just about touching Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Keys 19/10/15. Artificial turf recommendations? 1670Dec 08, 2015 11:30 pm If you are happy to hang the roller blinds yourself try iseekblinds.com.au we got our mantra blockout ones from there and they were pretty cheap if I remember correctly. Super easy to hang yourself too. Re: Keys 19/10/15. Artificial turf recommendations? 1671Dec 09, 2015 12:20 am I love my roller blinds . The kids rooms have just the block out . As well as the laundry . We got ours from abc blinds but did it through our build . We also have the textured ones and I think they look great . Before these ones we had plan block outs . But the material was not very good so abc blinds toke them back and we upgraded to the textured ones . Keys 19/10/15. But we ended up getting PVC ones that feel like fabric. When the kids are grown up we will upgrade. I want sheers in the living areas but not while the kids are young. Have you gone to Coolico? I paid around $140 a window. Our dream home viewtopic.php?t=75306 Building our first home - viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75306 Re: Keys 19/10/15. Artificial turf recommendations? 1675Dec 09, 2015 10:42 am Hey Cara, not yet but I'm planning to get a quote from them as well. A few people have said definitely go for a blockout in the minor bedrooms but I'm not convinced we need it. I'll have a look at what Coolico have as well. Belzey, I was thinking that but out windows are a odd shape so I don't know how easy it would be. I guess the OH could give it a go. Can you custom order size?
