Yeah I'll see how the shutters go haha, he seems convinced he can do it. Maybe he will be able to go into business doing that if it works as I'd feel better with his feet on the ground rather up on a roof! We just used Boardwalk shutters. I didn't think there would be so much interest in this post haha! Archetto timber decking is generally between $180-250per sqm supply and laid. We are needing about 35sqm but lucky for me my brother is a carpenter and our good friend is a timber importer so we are getting the timber and then my brother is building the deck I think because you said u were doing your whole house people have assumed you must have got s good deal. To do my whole house is nearly $20,000 Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 149Jun 11, 2015 2:30 pm Eeeeek sorry people. Maybe we all have different opinions about what is a good price. Anyway our house isn't huge so I was pretty happy with the price to do the entire house -$11k all up. Depends how big your house and windows are as to how much is will cost to do it all. Finally starting my own thread..! 150Jun 11, 2015 8:50 pm Ermmm does anyone know what stage the AC is meant to be done? I'm following another build that had their tubing pulled through before ceilings don't tell me CH have forgotten yet another thing!!! Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 151Jun 11, 2015 10:48 pm We always do it the weekend after roof tiles or colourbond goes on. Put the ducts in and the inside unit or compressor. Then at eletrical fitout do the outdoor unit In saying that you can put ducts and in roof unit in later but it's more pain in a55 to do it like that the ac guy surely would prefer to out ducting in before plaster. Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 152Jun 12, 2015 9:09 am Aww I want those doggies! How cute I would email them asking about the air con, seems strange to be waiting until later on Re: Finally starting my own thread..! 153Jun 12, 2015 10:12 am Haha thanks they are pretty cute I've emailed them about the a/c thanks guys! Our living room couch got delivered today so happy with the color and fabric!!!! Cannot wait to see it in the new house. I was worried because I got it made in a custom fabric picked on a tiny swatch and I had no idea how it would look over a big area but I love it!
