Gosh it poured out your way, it drizzled here which was annoying. Enjoy your first night your in lovely new home Yeah even had hail today....but had the moat since Wednesday with the daily storms. Hurry up driveway! Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 445Nov 07, 2015 10:12 pm I just read the paper and areas south of brissy had golf ball sized hail hope your car didn't get damaged. The evening storms have been huge. When does your drive way go in? The evening storms have been huge. When does your drive way go in? I was driving 2 mins from home and just got hit by some small ones. I haven't checked the car properley yet. Hopefully ok. Hoping driveway is this week or next week. Unfortunately landscapers have been delayed by all the rain. Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 447Nov 24, 2015 7:54 am Back to work yesterday booo!! But on a happier note the landscapers started yesterday on the back retaining wall. How did your driveway excavation go yesterday? Looking forward to your next lot of pics Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 451Dec 03, 2015 7:30 am Thanks Tribe, i feel so lazy compared to you hahaha...i work up a sweat watching them though Excavation started on Tuesday, rained out Wednesday hopefully back on it today. They only did a bit of the driveway mainly started adding dirt around the back and levelling it out so there is a only a slight hill to walk down on each side of the retaining wall. Looking to back corner of yard. There will be concrete from the alfresco to the retaining wall. Hooray to the driveway being boxed up its so nice to be able to drive into the garage. Hope the weather stays nice for you. Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 456Dec 11, 2015 11:18 am I thought that might be the case, makes it easier to have the load done on the same day so there isn't any colour differences. It's going good, I've made a new garden bed out the back which I will fill with dirt tomorrow and plant out, mr t made me 3 planter boxes along the driveway fence and I've put palms in those, I'll get a pic later today. Got all our screens sorted out for our windows and sliding doors too, thank god so sick of all the bugs getting in. How are you settling in? Started thinking about your landscaping? Thats awesome, i bet its looking amazing! Noooo....concrete got cancelled because of the rain. Probably won't be till Thurs/Fri now The landscapers are doing turf at the front and some out the back. Can't even consider plants right now as our landscaping bill came in at 7k extra that we weren't expecting Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 458Dec 21, 2015 2:59 pm How did your driveway go agf? Holy moly that's a big difference you poor thing . Ohhhh I got to have a look in the retreat up the street from me on the weekend and gosh it's beautiful, feels super luxe and the layout is fantastic I was looking around thinking wow agf is lucky her place is the same Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 459Dec 30, 2015 2:21 pm Hey Tribe Sorry for lack of update had to reset my phone so lost my login details. Yeah loving the retreat, had plenty of room for my family to stay over xmas. They did say it would keep changing colours until its fully cured in a month. In a month we are going to seal it with a 'wet look' sealer which should make it look nice. Also got some turf down the following day and managed to keep most of it alive in the heat.
