Still need to seal the driveway and want to paint the retaining walls/fences. Will be a job for Easter holidays. Letterbox took forever but worth it in the end. Love living here. Hope you are enjoying your beautiful home too Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 467Jun 09, 2016 1:57 pm Hi I just wanted to ask about your living area and how you find the temperature in the living/dining area with those stacker doors you have. Have you noticed the room being more cooler with all that window in that area of your home or any difference at all? We are building the Carmelle with Plantation which has stacker doors also but with all this cold weather weve been having in the last month in Brisbane/Ipswich I was just wandering if it was worth considering double glazing on those doors or paying for the heating option with our aircon. Thanks Re: Building the Plantation Retreat Nouveau Q1 at Logan Vill 468Jun 13, 2016 8:25 am NVLR Hi I just wanted to ask about your living area and how you find the temperature in the living/dining area with those stacker doors you have. Thanks Hi, Our lounge room was the hottest part of the house during Summer but I think that was mainly because thats where the sun hit during the day. We survived through Summer without aircon and blinds on the doors. There were just a couple of days that were unbearable. If we had screens on the stacker doors the breeze would cool the house right down. So far in winter the house has kept reasonably warm. Sorry don't know if this helps haven't particularly noticed that the stacker doors make the house cooler or warmer. Grass is on and off with its greenieness We also had crimsafe installed on our front door and back sliders. Very pricey but i think it looks great and we get a breeze right through the house now and feel safe to leave them open during the night. In other news have also been working on finishing a nursery with baby agf due very soon (spot the kmart haha) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ I think I know the answer but just checking to see if anyone has had experience with it.
