We are thinking of building with New Gen later this year. Just wondering if you are part of the "pay nothing during building"? I saw it advertising after we thought about going through them but not sure how it works. All your selections look awesome, you must be getting excited! Sounded like a good deal though! Thank you, we are very excited!! Re: Building with New Generation Homes - Honeywood, Wandi! 63May 31, 2015 7:47 am Thanks for the explanation lisa - I've instructed the OH to read up about it, can't get it into my little brain! I *think* we need at least 1 more data point - then we'll have the same as what you've described and we should therefore be ok!!! EEEPPP! No worries MalSannie there is also the wireless way to connect everything but smart wiring is a stronger/better connection. It is all a bit much for me to understand sometimes! I saw it advertising after we thought about going through them but not sure how it works. All your selections look awesome, you must be getting excited! Hi Jess, we saw you wanted a little bit more information regarding our Pay $0 during construction promotion. While your home is being built, usually you have to make repayments which can be challenging when you are already paying rent or another mortgage. This promotion alleviates that financial pressure as we will pay the repayments for you. Or alternatively, we can pay you the savings up front so you can use it however you like (ie pay off your car loan, go on a holiday etc). Give us a call if you would like some more information regarding this on 6555 7548 or feel free to visit http://www.newgenerationhomes.com.au/ne ... repayments We hope that was helpful! We have finally received our building permit over a month later.... We received an email 2 weeks after drawings were sent to council with a massive variation to add a BAL 12.5 rating to our property because it wasn't on the DAP they designed our house off and also another variation for a portico because there is a restriction on our block that if the garage is more than 50% of the lot frontage we require a portico but the builders program went off our house frontage which is wider than the lot frontage due to the odd shape of our block so it wasn't 50%. We were very unimpressed that they took 2 weeks to design up a whole new frontage without any input from us and just expected us to sign this extra variation. We were not just signing it as neither of these were our fault. With another couple of weeks going back and forth we finally got the portico at no cost as it was their mistake and we got the BAL rating at 'cost' price. Still not happy we still have to pay a variation for something that is not our fault but we want to continue on with our build. We got council approval and a building permit last Friday 17/7/15 and our CLO has said they should start on site early this week! So fingers crossed ill start to have some progress photos for you guys! This is our new plan with the portico. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ This is our new elevation with the portico.
