Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 12, 2015 5:01 pm Hi all, I am about to go into prestart in a few weeks for my build with RedInk. I want to do floor to ceiling tiles in my bathrooms. RedInk said that it would roughly be $2500 per bathroom based on standard inclusion tiles. It is what it is, but I was wondering if anyone else had done this and could tell me how much it cost for them? Thanks in advance! Re: Building with RedInk, Anyone tile to ceiling their bathr 2Apr 12, 2015 5:08 pm What is the standard tiling they offer ? Half wall or just floor ? On average, a good tiler will charge around $70-$80 a square metre to lay tiles. You should be able to find out how much the tiles cost per square metre and do a rough calculation. I didn't use there standard range though . I recon lures came over 20,000 . Your best bet is to see tiler during construction and ask if he could do it . Probley get it done for $1000. Just get the batch no from your tiles to make sure there is no variation in colour Re: Building with RedInk, Anyone tile to ceiling their bathr 4Apr 13, 2015 11:08 pm We did it in two bathrooms and I think the cost was about 10k, so your quote does sound cheap. I believe if you do it direct through tiler you still need to ensure you have no cornice. A square set, I think it's called. Looking for advice on whether this variation in tile colour is acceptable.
