Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 15, 2017 4:45 pm Hi, Has anyone ever built a house with maintenance and upgrades in mind and if so, what was the innovative idea? For example, placing access panels and weatherboard behind the back of the kitchen sink to easily access water pipes for maintenance and repair? or having the mains gas line routed around the house instead of inside the house to avoid needing to open up dry walls? For upgrades examples, inserting 2" PVC from the ceiling to wall outlet areas for potential upgrades of ethernet cables?
