Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2015 8:14 pm After some advice here. We are 2 weeks away from our walkthrough with the builder and I've noticed that on 2 windows it looks like the opening has been made too big for window frame. http://i1155.photobucket.com/albums/p556/Matthew_Medlin/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-04/660062F9-3213-48E4-9F87-EBB8A3BE4792.jpg The left side of the window fits perfect but the right hand side has this gap. Only 2 windows like this that I can see. I'm not particularly worried, just wondering if this is within spec and if it is, how do they close the gap? Re: What's the fix for this gap between window frame and bri 2Apr 10, 2015 8:31 pm It could be they are articulation joints as they are often next to windows. Thanks 2 7542 Recently I moved to a 30 year old house and found within few months there are small brown nests in the brick mortar and few small round holes in few places of brick… 0 22686 This is 100% true. You can not hang anything on steel frames. very frustrating 8 8045 |
