Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 10, 2015 4:45 pm Hi everyone We are looking to build at beginning of next year so I am in the research stage at present... I have a tight budget but still want a quality home and inclusions - my question is who do you think is the best value for money builder on the Sunshine Coast? The design will be a low set custom design only due to shape of block and the fact we are building a granny flat under roof all up approx 355m2. I would love to use an off the shelf plan with some modifications but so far that is not working out. We did modify a Stylemaster plan and I had my heart set on it but Stylemaster has just got back to me to say head office won't approve it to be built by them unfortunately. I am also talking to a Gympie builder at present but just wanted any other feedback on good value for money builders... Thank you Re: Best Value for money Project Builder - Sunshine Coast 2Jul 09, 2015 9:02 am The Home Styler Hi everyone We are looking to build at beginning of next year so I am in the research stage at present... Thank you We are doing the rounds of project builders on the Sunshine Coat at the moment. We are also on a very tight budget. Its such a daunting task, my husband absolutly hates it especially when you barely walk in the door of their display homes and they launch into asking for money there and then so you don't miss out on their special offer finishing that day! He can only manage 2 a day before he gets riled up. We are looking at Nutrend in Caloundra. They are very flexible with designs and alterations and they do have some dual living homes. They don't have display homes but were happy to take us through a partially built one. They did have a display home in Glenview (?) which was dual living but they now have that on the market, we went through that one as well. The guys are down to earth, very approachable, competively priced and I have heard nothing but good things about them. They only take on 4 houses at a time and use local tradies, someone 'in the know' told us they always pay their suppliers and tradies on time so in return the tradies always do a really good job on their builds. Hope that helps. As a tradesmen get a private inspector although I don't think there worth it in their profession themselves the reminder they serve to the tradesmen doing the work is… 3 22302 Hi, as per the subject.
