A&L has been in to install a couple of infills above the kitchen and butlers windows. Prior to the NHP, render was reapplied which covered the blemishes and bricks above and below the corbelling where cleaned as they appeared cloudy. Facade is now ready to go and the garage door was installed a couple of weeks ago. Were you doing the carpets post handover, is it done now? Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 323Dec 21, 2015 9:31 pm Hi Neth, Apologies as its been a while since the last update. Thanks MichaelQ. I know this is a busy period. What type of evaporative cooler did you install? Did you find a big price difference when compared with Mainvue? Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 325Dec 21, 2015 10:27 pm We installed a Breezair unit for $4300. Didn't really obtain a price from Mainvue as they didn't offer the Breezair. If you purchase from the builder you'll need pay the builders margin (I think its 20%), however, the benefit is that it's there when you take the keys so it wont delay your move. ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 326Dec 22, 2015 7:31 am Bit late to the party.. It was great Re: Mainvue Emporio ER430 - Knockdown and Rebuild 329Dec 22, 2015 9:40 am We're in Victoria. Yeap they were pretty good. From memory site costs increased by about $5k as a result of 2nd soil test. To their credit, all costs communicated during the sales process were very accurate, a couple of items came in higher, however, a couple also came in lower. The key is to educate yourself (this site has been a great help for us) and hopefully find a reliable sales consultant who can answer your questions. It's all about making informed decisions. ------------------------------------------- Build Thread - Mainvue Emporio ER430 KDR https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76790&p=1332227&hilit=mainvue#p1332227 if the original house is in good condition most of what you listed could be added in stages without the need for KDR and costs and disruption of having to live elsewhere… 1 13678 Hi We have finally decided to complete a KDR on our corner plot in NE Melbourne suburbs.
