Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Aug 03, 2015 2:23 pm We live in a small house, in very poor condition. It is on a sloped block and near bush land (we are BAL-FZ for 1/3 of house and BAL-40 for rest) and we're in Sydney's lower north shore. We don't have a million bucks to spend, but we're also not looking to build a 6 bedroom mansion with gold plated door knobs either (3 bedroom house with attached double garage, 302sq building and I think the "living space" is something like 178sq). We were hoping to build something at around the $700k range (our original design company had assured us that it could be built in the $500k range, I'm utterly dissapointed with that). Does anyone have any recommendations on good builders, with flame zone experience, with sloping block experience, at a reasonable rate? I'm even contemplating getting it built to lockup and I complete the rest (personally or managing tradies myself). regards Dave Is it just a report written to give to the bank initially and it is based on what and how your payments are made up for, or is it a full service where they go out and… 2 5612 Hi Suku18 In NSW the statutory required insurances are: 1.
