Re: Building in Calderwood Valley 30Aug 31, 2015 2:41 pm BindiJames Thanks for your advise, do you know if they release all the blocks at once or in stages? i believe there are only 35 in the next release, doesnt leave you with much of a chance where there are hundred of people wanting blocks . I know i think its been pretty much the same with the other releases we didnt even get a look in the 1st one then the 2nd one hubby got a call offering a 300sqm block with was no good for us.. its pretty hard and fustrating but stick with it like i said we used nbn and that was lightening quick i put my mobile number in the search area and right clicked copied it so as soon as i got the link i right clicked and pasted your name is already pre filled. Worked for us and a few other people i know of so its worth a shot. We never expected to finish top10 so only really considered a smaller 450 block but ended up bring lucky enough to get a 615sqm block. So hang in there hopefully you get thru Re: Building in Calderwood Valley 31Aug 31, 2015 2:44 pm Thanks Peter, i was speaking to Ben at the sales center yesterday and he mentioned they are hoping for another release 4 weeks after this next one so fingers crossed. When you say you didnt get in the first but did the second did they release blocks in stages for the first release? Do you know how many blocks were sold? We missed out on the first 2 releases but got thru on the last one, i think they released 35-40 each lot from memory. Re: Building in Calderwood Valley 38Sep 17, 2015 8:05 am Hi all, we are having plans done by our builder and getting them to quote our driveway, when we were sold the block my wife and I are 100% that we were told the plain concrete "pad" that crosses over the path and the street cut in will be done by the estate and then we do colour concrete from the boundary. Now we are being told by the estate that in this particular estate they are not doing it this and we need to pay for the pad? Was anyone else told this?
