Thanks cs Hi cs, The estate is wired for fibre optics by OptiComm which is similar to the original NBN fibre-to-the-home, but completely independent from it. The network also carries both free-to-air and pay-tv signals meaning no need for antenna or satellite dishes (although you still need the Foxtel box installed), and home phones as well. Cheers Matt Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 428Jan 18, 2016 7:51 am Batts went in yesterday. They came around 6 - 7pm yesterday.. surprised they were working the Sunday, especially at that time. Probably trying to avoid the heat. Props to them. In the meantime, I'll continue to admire yours ? Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 432Jan 19, 2016 7:51 am It starts feeling reel once they put the fence up. It wont take long at all for them to get moving. ![]() More happening on our block. Mr Goop's come and gone, gooped all our windows. Temporary doors have been hung properly and door knobs (with locks ![]() ![]() Frame's been shaved and being prepared for plaster. There's more insulation to come still, and timber windows and stackers need to still be put on - assuming that'll happen today. Plaster's also been delivered. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 434Jan 19, 2016 3:25 pm That was an estate requirement needed for the estates private NBN - it was $1937 Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 436Jan 19, 2016 8:35 pm Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 438Jan 22, 2016 6:41 pm Who's your SS? I'd just get on your admin or SS's back and find out what the delay is. A tradies left a massive aussie flag on our place, propably preparing for Aus Day. ![]() ![]() Also got our split system aircon rough-ins done (needed to be done at frame stage for internal walls), and I also went in and insulated the internal wall for the theatre room. Haven't been back to the block today, but Brickies should be starting today or Monday I think. Our construction manager's following up on the sparky, there's only two cut out provisions for powerpoints on the living room bulkhead, when there should be five - power point, tv point and data point at 1400mm high, and two double power points at 300mm. I think that's caused the plaster to be delayed till next week now too. Re: Henley Carmelle Lux Q2 - Roofed 439Jan 24, 2016 4:53 pm ![]() Looks like things are back in swing. Stacker doors and windows delivered today. Ducted heating ran today, and even the ducted vac system. Guessing they'll put the windows in tomorrow or Monday? Bricky and plaster should be next week. Got to see it all while it was raining, couldn't find any leaks anywhere which is good! Data box Windows Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Heating.
