Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Marcia's Home Group Build: Front Garden is Done! 86Jun 27, 2015 12:46 pm Front garden is done. So glad we fought to keep our landscaping package, well worth the sleepless nights. I think from memory it was 160m2 of grass alone! While we were out the front after the landscapers left, a couple came past walking their dog and said it was lovely to see the house finished. They said they had been watching the house eventuate and we had done a sensational job with it, the house makes its mark in the street and it has a presence like none around us. A bit flattered we were, but also chuffed. So here's the frontage all finished. You can see why the letterbox is like it is, matching the feature wall. I like matchey matchey!! I spent yesterday planting out the back garden beds with trees and bushes and heaps of other plants. Mulching today so once my back recovers and netball weekend is over (last carnival of the season thank goodness!) I will take some happy snaps and share. Thanks Mal, I love watching our daughter play netball, she's actually pretty good at it (her normal Sat team recently had their first loss in two years!). She umpires around her Sat game as well, which she loves doing. The killer has been she got selected to do district association netball and the extra commitment has killed me. I know it has her, she's so tired, but the sitting around at extra training, games, carnivals, weekends lost to netball, it has made me netball worn out. I'm now proficient at studying up in the bleachers or sitting in the car listening to uni lectures because some weeks it was an extra 15 hours or more of netball. But all over after Sunday afternoon, booyeah! Be nice to hand that uniform back. Re: Marcia's Home Group Build: Front Garden is Done! 94Jun 28, 2015 10:20 am Just catching up Marcia.
