Your home looks amazing. Congratulations! Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1528Jul 08, 2016 5:35 pm Thanks guys. A bit off it all at the moment. So we've had our keys for about 2 months now. We finally got our garage door back on today after bringing up to SS that it was scratched prior to PCI. Only to find it returned with an even bigger scratch. Fabulous. We have a leak in our roof above one of the eaves which had to be looked at for the second time today as the first visit didn't make any difference. Our aircon still doesn't work. Has never worked. When we brought it up at PCI we were told that we had to liaise with the air con company ourselves (bit ridiculous seeing as we paid the builder for it) and we've been fighting an uphill battle on that ever since. They're meant to be coming to do some work on it next week but they were meant to do that last week too so I won't hold my breath. I don't think I could handle another build any time soon, that's for sure. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1529Jul 08, 2016 10:57 pm Oh no that doesn't sound very good at all. I honestly do not get how you have to fight tooth and nail to actually get something fixed or changed or whatever when it should have been perfect in the first place, especially since we pay a sh*tload of money! Rant over Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1530Jul 09, 2016 1:38 am Took them 4 goes to get our leak fixed kel so you are nearly there lol...they have pretty average after handover attitude I reckon! Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1532Jul 09, 2016 11:30 am Robina So sad you're having issues. Your house is sooo beautiful. You should be able to enjoy it. Did you try your AC before PCI? Hope it all gets sorted for you soon. Yep and SS just said we had to liaise with the aircon company OH spoke with the general manager yesterday afternoon so hoping he can sort this all out for us ASAP. That doesn't sound right, when we had issues with our garage door I called the building commission and everything should go through the builder. Speak to them and they will give you your exact rights. Good policy to talk to them as builders and SS sometimes are ignorant of consumer right. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1534Jul 09, 2016 8:23 pm Forgot to add that we were having problems with the garage door company so told the builder to not have them contact me by phone. All correspondence is to go through the builder in writing, e-mail, to which the builder did. Re: Kellie's HGWA Build - Curtains, Etc - PICS 1535Jul 11, 2016 12:34 pm Thanks for that Decka. Hopefully getting the aircon situation sorted today. I feel bad for our CLO - she probably thought she was done with me months ago haha. She's lovely though, it definitely makes a difference. Hoping to hear back RE the door today but not holding my breath. Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
