Yaaay 1194Mar 22, 2016 3:21 pm Oh NO!! I hope there's an easier fix for that one. Is it just the light or is it as deep as the footprints? Yaaay 1195Mar 22, 2016 7:12 pm Had a meeting with our SS today to discuss a couple of issues. The driveway is finally being ripped up next Tuesday so that's good. Unfortunately it's looking like we're going to have to get rid of our black doors into our robe. The paint finish looks terrible and even though they've been back to fix it a couple times, it just doesn't have a quality finish due to the colour. I'm bummed to lose the black as it was going to be an awesome feature but I would prefer white doors that look good than bad looking black ones. Still just playing the waiting game for PCI now. It will end up being about a month after it was supposed to be due to the screw up of the aggregate. Re: Home Group WA Build 1196Mar 22, 2016 8:39 pm That's not good about the black doors. All my doors are black, I hope I don't have any problems Re: Home Group WA Build 1197Mar 22, 2016 8:51 pm I tried to take a photo but it was hard with the sun.. but you can kind of see what the issue is. All the lumps and bumps of the MDF doors show up really really badly with black paint. They prepped them and came back twice to fix them up but they just don't look good Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Home Group WA Build 1199Mar 23, 2016 9:28 am How disappointing about the doors Kellie... was there any mention about the the other bit of exposed aggregate you noticed in your alfresco area? Yeah.. after the driveway debacle, basically not a fight worth fighting. I'm so over this build lol Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
