Love the wet areas but your laundry is particularly lovely and big! I think I would choose the simplest fan.....its a fan doesn't need to be a feature as your rooms are just beautiful. Splashback Thanks bluesteel. Loving the floors, the kitchen, the recycled brick, the all-important laundry... all of it! I'm curious, are the laundry cabinets all white, or are the overheads another colour? I love that combo with wood-look tiles and dark bench! This is my circus, and these are my monkeys. Life is good. I did think about doing the top cabinets dark but we decided to just keep the splashback tile as the main feature and not introduce anymore. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76666 our custom build on 25 acres Re: 25acres-Energy efficient custom build- Which fans??? 212Oct 17, 2015 9:23 pm admodra bluesteel WOW! It might restrict your choices unless you went for a simple colour scheme. Yes your tiler has done a brilliant job, love those tiles Re: 25acres-Energy efficient custom build- Updated pics. 215Oct 18, 2015 5:59 pm I just posted this fan onto my pinterest board when I saw your question about your ceiling fans. I love the timber one but there is a white one as well which is also beautiful! https://www.lightingillusions.com.au/sh ... 2521-22588 Re: 25acres-Energy efficient custom build- Updated pics. 216Oct 18, 2015 6:28 pm Hey admodra, also struggled with fans particularly in my raked ceiling, picked the galaxy lighting propeller in the end, I let Choice guide my decision. Wet areas look great, especially the laundry splashback. I actually prefer the bamboo fan, I think it would tie in well with your brick wall and the wood on your island bench. I say go with what you want, can't see either of them being wrong. Only last week we purchased a fan for our raked ceiling, we went for this one since our pendants are quite dark http://www.beaconlighting.com.au/fans/c ... l-koa.html cost a bomb but you only live once right My build thread: Custom build on 40 acres viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75656 Re: 25acres-Energy efficient custom build- Updated pics. 218Oct 21, 2015 9:09 am Haha, so basically even votes each way!! In the end I changed my order to the white ... that was before the last few comments!! As usual I'm overthinking it and I promise I'll move on now . MnT, Tracey, me - all gorgeous fans there. Funny MnT, I had actually gone and checked your pics for fans - you being the Queen of Warmth and all !! - but there wasn't one there!! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76666 our custom build on 25 acres Re: 25acres-Energy efficient custom build- Updated pics. 219Oct 21, 2015 9:14 am MnT Oh wow, haven't checked. in for a while and so much as happened. Only took the first week of us moving in to realise we need it to keep the hot air down when the fireplace was on. So now waiting waiting waiting for the sparky to turn up.
