Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 30, 2015 7:14 pm Hi all So this is my first home and im trying to figure out who to build through. I was orginally building with freelife but with all the dramas surrounding them atm i dont want to get invovled with them! What are some good builders that people are happy with and can recommend for a first home? Thanks heaps! Re: confused first home buyer 2Mar 31, 2015 8:49 am Hello, We are in the process of building with Henley homes, here in Melbourne. Second time builders, first with Boutique homes (which were great). Pick the home you love and take it from there because you are going to hear good and bad experiences from people about builders. So it's hard to answer!! so far we have had good experiences with both builds. Good luck Re: confused first home buyer 3Mar 31, 2015 10:57 am NESS_MARTINS Hi all So this is my first home and im trying to figure out who to build through. But as this one being your first home, it's better not to take a chance.

Re: confused first home buyer 6Mar 31, 2015 3:03 pm I am assuming you are in WA because you were looking at Freelife Homes. Other first home builders in WA are B1 Homes Aussie Living Homes Easy Start Homes Goodlife Homes Ideal Homes I didn't build with any of them so can't pass any comments on them, but I would go in and speak to say 5 different builders, find a plan from each that you like, look at inclusions they offer, packages they offer, costs of their upgrades, read about them on this forum, have a look at reviews online. And when you've done as much research as you possibly can then you can make an informed decision and hope for the best. With Complete, you want to keep the changes to a minimum or the price goes up real quick. This will all be impacted by the local councils planning scheme. Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point. I'll drop by over the weekend to get… 5 27713 |
