Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 63Jun 21, 2015 11:27 am Should have our final drawings tomorrow or Tuesday depending on the post. I have everything crossed for no mistakes. Everything we asked for has been changed so we have signed off and will return papers to Redink tomorrow. Now just waiting to get shire approval. Im hoping we will have slab by August if my calculations are correct Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 66Jun 25, 2015 12:05 am Yay for no mistakes! Hope the shire approvals come through quickly for you. Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 67Jun 25, 2015 7:25 pm Stupid tapatalk. Third attempt at a post. Thanks ourmansion. I know one of the ladies that works in the building dep at our shire and i cheekily asked her to bump us to the top of the pile, she did say it was pretty quiet in our area at the moment so should hopefully only take a couple weeks for approval. As much as im in a hurry to see some action on the block we are still waiting for our bank to finalize finance so dont want that holding the build up im sure it will all work out but its slightly frustrating when they take their time. Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 69Jun 26, 2015 7:14 pm That's great It's good when the builder can get ready to go on site as soon as they get the permit Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 70Jun 28, 2015 12:50 am So happy to hear your plans were faultless yay!!! And Congratulations for going to scheduling Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 71Jul 13, 2015 8:21 pm Following your thread loveeee your WIP & WIL!!!! Also our master and ensuite are so similar cant wait to see a slab soon by the sounds of it!! Jelly of your nice big block My thread - viewtopic.php?t=77170 Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 73Jul 14, 2015 2:24 pm Our Honeywood Build Following your thread loveeee your WIP & WIL!!!! Also our master and ensuite are so similar cant wait to see a slab soon by the sounds of it!! Jelly of your nice big block My thread - viewtopic.php?t=77170 Thanks! I would have loved the double vanity like yours but they were going to charge us some ridiculous price for the extra sink. Its not very often we both need the basin at the same time so we figured could go without it. My friend is also building (different company) with a similar layout which was handy for me to be able to picture what ours will eventually look like. Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 74Jul 14, 2015 2:25 pm kellie_87 Final plans look great ColleyCrew Thanks Kellie Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 75Jul 18, 2015 11:22 pm Love your plans ColleyCrew, you have a really nice size block! Looks amazing I love your open plan living areas and how your fridge is tucked away, some great ideas. Looking forward to following and seeing it come to life Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 76Jul 21, 2015 7:35 am ColleyCrew I would have loved the double vanity like yours but they were going to charge us some ridiculous price for the extra sink. We were the same - wanted a basin in the powder room and the price was extortionate. So 'swapped' the 2nd one which was in the original plan to the powder instead. They still charged an arm and a leg, but not quite both legs as for an extra one. As you say it will be very very rare if ever that you'd both need to use the sink at the same time (she says in hope). This red tape/paper wait is the longest isn't it - I'll keep fingers crossed things start to move for you soon! I also figure if we both desperately need it at the same time there is a 2nd bathroom, a laundry trough plus the kitchen sink haha. How's everything going with your build? Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 78Jul 21, 2015 9:14 am Haha love it - maybe not a bad idea to get a mirror splashback?? It is going well I think - roof timbers completed, and it looks more and more like a house now - thanks! Re: Redink Midwest First Time Builders 79Jul 21, 2015 9:59 pm Same here, also wanted a basin in the powder room but it was way too expensive so didn't end up getting it but I really really wanted the double vanity and got it. Just need the Shire and the bank to get their butts into gear and we will be good to go! Can anyone give me any onfo on New Homes WA? Good or bad, hopefully good just need to know if my choice was good or not? Thanks ❤️ 0 8943 So it looks like we finally have some movement on site!
