Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 130Jun 13, 2015 9:07 pm Congrats guys you must be thrilled, love the kitchen how glamorous does it look! Ensuite is just as lovely, it is a seriously fancy home . Best of luck with getting everything finalised (then we get some more pics?) Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 133Jul 12, 2015 6:23 pm It's great thanks. Yours in powering along tribe, and so is everyone else's which is good. Nope no driveway yet unfortunately, can't get it approved for the cross over application from council due to a manhole in the way. Had to get quotes etc to have it lowered and the lid changed. Received a quote the other day just working out who's going to pay it and then hopefully get that fixed and then the driveway done. So unfortunately we are a few weeks away from a driveway still. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 134Jul 12, 2015 7:26 pm Great to hear your loving your home. Yeap motoring along now, can't wait to move Oh no about the manhole, what a pain in the butt. We had a similar issue with a nbn Pitt that was put in the middle of our cross over. I got the developer to relocate it. Are you in a stocks estate? If so and you didn't change your driveway location from the original placement give them a call they might just help you out. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 135Jul 12, 2015 8:20 pm Yeh I bet that's the fun part except for the actual move, lol. Yeh we were pretty annoyed about it, but we have done just that, spoken with the developers and they reckon they will be sorting it out, but I don't like to count my chickens until there hatched. But hopefully we hear back from them this week or the next. I'll be that excited I won't care about moving (I'll just moan how sore I am later ) I felt the same way, they stipulate where the driveway is and then go and slab something in the middle of it. Turns out it was the contractor in our estate I think they did it to another couple too. Great news with them sorting it, if it's stocklands you won't have a drama they are pretty good. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 137Jul 12, 2015 9:01 pm Haha yeh that's true, that's exactly how it goes. At least it'll be the last one for a long time anyway. That's right, I just want it sorted so I can use the garage, lol Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 138Jul 13, 2015 1:45 pm So true, it's all over pretty quickly too which is good. I bet not being able to have the garage would be a pain. Question. When did you get your certificate of occupancy? When coral handed over the keys or did it take a little longer? Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 139Jul 13, 2015 8:03 pm It is a pain indeed. Especially when It rains everything turns to mud because we don't want to landscape just in case it all gets driven over and ruined. We had our certificate a couple weeks before we moved in. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 140Jul 13, 2015 9:33 pm Nic & Shell love the mirrored splash back!! Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
