Not even a month now, hope you guys have started packing. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 86May 11, 2015 7:04 am We are having timber flooring and We Don't like the Scotia around the island bench so there doing extra work to not have the Scotia, we were going to pay it but they said they would, apparently they paid extra for splash back in one length for us and use of the bobcat at the end. We haven't started packing yet but have talked about that we should. As it will probably creep up very quickly. Yep everytime im there I try them but there always locked, haha. it seems like it has flown by very quickly which is great. Very excited indeed. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 87May 11, 2015 10:40 pm That's great they are doing the scotia and also the glass, the bobcat is the big one, you will be able to get your yard lovely with that on hand. My god the 10th if June is a blink away, by the time you guys get everything organised it will be time to move, that's super exciting. What have you guys got planned for window furnishings? Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 88May 12, 2015 1:59 pm Yeh I wasn't keen on the bobcat to be honest because I wouldn't be ready for it, but I guess if I just get a few trucks to dump soil on that day it will help alot. Yeh it basically is just around the corner which is great, we need to get into gear and sort everything out, haha. Waiting for an amended quote from carpet court and still looking around so nothing has been set yet. Good plan get the soil delivered on the day and use that bob cat to its full extent, I think we are going to have to hire one so mr tribe can fix the rotten batter we have . Oh the joys of packing, it's kind of liberating to clean everything out and de clutter, you guys will have that sorted in no time. So the carpet is after hand over? I'm really wishing I upgraded our underlay more but what's done is done. What colour carpet are you going for? I'm really wishing I upgraded our underlay more but what's done is done. What colour carpet are you going for? Yeh that's right try and get the most out of the bobcat while we can. There not cheap we found out when we did our retaining wall. Carpet is all done through the builder, carpet court do blinds and curtains aswell so we were waiting for an amended quote through them. And we are still looking around to see what else is out there and possibly cheaper. We got 10mm underlay, got a price to go rubber and it was too much so we stuck with the 10mm and hopefully it will be ok. The carpet is a dark colour carpet like a charcoal colour. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 91May 12, 2015 8:52 pm They are killer expensive, I think mr tribe is dead keen to do it though hehehhe. I didn't even ask about blinds ect at our appointment, I've found a site that have very good prices for blinds and curtains especially bulk packs, in not sure if they still have a sale on but there prices where really good. http://www.quickfitblindsandcurtains.co ... tains.html Surely the underlay will be good, I hope so with the amount of traffic our carpet will see it better be . Oh nice love the charcoal carpets. Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 92May 13, 2015 6:45 am Even if you didn't want to get a bobcat and were going to do it by hand you can always hire dingos or similar to operate yourselves to help push it around. Thanks I'll check them out aswell. Haha that's true, I'm not sure if the displays use foam or rubber but they seem to hold up, I'm sure you guys will be fine . Re: Building our coral homes modified Casurina plan in Ormea 94May 24, 2015 6:00 pm Haven't really updated it which is probably why it disappeared. Fit out i guess is 80% compete. Flooring and carpets are in. Some plumbers items left and also just for the carpenter to come back and finish his thing. PCI is due 28th last time we got updated from the SS. Shell went to site while I was away for work the other night and sure enough the sliding door was left open so she got to go in and peak around. Typical it would happen while I'm out at work. Lol. Can't remember off top of my head when slab went down but from site start it's been almost 13 week's. Including approx a week for us to do retaining wall. So probably about 11 weeks from slab. Which seems pretty quick Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck.
