They are lovely homes. Look forward to watching your build. Will you post floor plans and your selections? Re: Building with Rendition in Lockleys 3Mar 24, 2015 11:00 pm There is a rendition home going up near us. I saw the sign put up the other day Re: Building with Rendition in Lockleys 5Mar 25, 2015 10:17 pm The sign is on a block in melrose park. They subdivided one block into three. Metricon is building on one block, they have reached lock up. The second block has the rendition sign. Not sure who will be building on the third block. I often drive past so can keep you posted if you like Re: Building with Rendition in Lockleys 7Mar 27, 2015 3:12 pm Just posting so I can follow, we're getting houses quoted up at the moment but have a family friend that is a rep at rendition so considering them for our next house Would be interested to hear of peoples experiences Siteworks 8/11 Slabbed 19/11 Our Thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65703 Re: Building with Rendition in Lockleys 8Apr 10, 2015 2:07 pm Corpsy Hi, we're up to the contract stage with Rendition. Just wondering if you had any issues with the fixed price contract or the HIA building contract? Thanks No issues with the contract....selections went fairly well and we even got a large credit back when the final engineers report gave a lower wind rating....just waiting now for the bank to do their valuation as rendition say they are ready to go what design are you going with? They are lovely homes. Look forward to watching your build. Will you post floor plans and your selections? Have just our plans up...our selections went for 8 pages...in quite small font...so i am not sure how much detail you want? Our brickwork was just completed so I am wondering how much longer it will be before we can move in. Guessing middle of May but who knows? How many weeks did Rendition take with everyone else??? Re: Building with Rendition in Lockleys 14Feb 28, 2017 4:53 pm Hi Is it single story or double story? In the contract it had the maximum amount of time allowed and ours was 34 weeks and they were just inside that. We had Xmas in that time so that's 2 weeks gone. I think lock-up is about half way. Of course that depends on what the builder is doing at the end of your job. We did our own floors, driveway, landscaping, stormwater...so that saved some time. We have been in for a year and the house is great. I much prefer a builder who takes his time and gets it right the first time. I have heard some horror stories from rushed jobs and had a few friends with major problems that thye only found after handover. Hope this helps.
