In the contract it had the maximum amount of time allowed and ours was 34 weeks and they were just inside that. We had Xmas in that time so that's 2 weeks gone. I think lock-up is about half way. Of course that depends on what the builder is doing at the end of your job. We did our own floors, driveway, landscaping, stormwater...so that saved some time. We have been in for a year and the house is great. I much prefer a builder who takes his time and gets it right the first time. I have heard some horror stories from rushed jobs and had a few friends with major problems that thye only found after handover. Hope this helps.
