Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 22, 2015 7:24 pm Hi All, First post as a member, as per title has anyone used Strongbuild in NSW to build a new house? I really like the country classic style but I have not seen much mention of them anywhere beyond what they have on their site. Would really be interested on people's experiences with them since I a contemplating a knock-down and rebuild but I do not like the project home style. Re: Anyone used Strongbuild? 2May 19, 2016 4:27 pm Hi WIP This might be a bit late but anyhow... We have used Strongbuild and it is one of the worst experiences in my life. They built our neighbours houses as well and we have all been riddled with substandard work from leaking roofs to non-working pipes, bathroom exhaust fan doesn't even suck up a piece of toilet paper and more. Attempts to have them rectified is like pulling teeth from a crocodile. You will be met with arrogance, insults and ridicule if they even reply to emails. All of us home owners will never use Strongbuild, much less recommend them. The irony of the name. They don't have quality control. Floors are very uneven (roll a ball to see how fast it rolls), there's no supervision with the work (owner needs to deal with the workers) and more. Don't believe the self-promotion, photos on covers of magazines or "awards" from their industry friends - these are all coming from their side. To get real feedback, ask real homeowners in subdivisions they've built.
