The concretor (who is also now our fence post hole digger to be lol) is coming back today so it's all systems go... we were out re-marking post holes at 5.30am this morning... really need a rest. Re: Coral Homes Daydream 30 - we're in 543Mar 14, 2016 10:08 am Hey all,
Post holes (gigantic! and pool area formed on Friday. Pool got handed over on Saturday. (yeah, right, still missing a pump for the jets and sunpods, they're trying to get us to arrange an electrician to connect the heat pump (!!!!) and the sunpods are still not done). It's taken them 3 weeks so far for them to do the pool. Very unimpressed with Barrier Reef Pools - can't recommend them at all. Very poor customer service, very disorganised and the pool isn't even parallel to the house. The concretors are back today to pour the pool area: Re: Coral Homes Daydream 30 - we're in 544Mar 14, 2016 10:21 am Oh thats disappointing Daz, But it does look amazing!!! _________________________ Building the Noosa 26 with Coral Homes https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=80794 Re: Coral Homes Daydream 30 - pool and decking 546Mar 14, 2016 12:28 pm Just heard that the decking starts on Wednesday. MrsJM, 5.8m x 6.2m, does feel huge! Yes we did, had a wire put in so that I wouldn't have exposed plugs but then they ended up fitting a double power point anyway.... was not happy but too tired to fight things any more. Re: Coral Homes Daydream 30 - pool and decking 556Mar 24, 2016 9:49 am Wow Daz, You've certainly done a lot of work in a short time! What a huge outdoor area to not have to mow. Oldie 2 would be impressed. (If he ever looked on here, which he doesn't) Energy Efficiency rules have resulted in our Outdoor Area being increased to 6x4m. still not as large as yours, though! Hoping the pool will still fit in. Coral is increasing the footings so the pool doesn't have to be 3m. away. Let's hope pool company (Leisure Pools) and Council agree it can be closer. Re: Coral Homes Daydream 30 - pool and decking 557Mar 24, 2016 3:47 pm Thanks Oldies! Lol @ non-mowing area haha Fingers crossed your pool fits, I hope that ours is all finished next week, can't wait to use it properly. If you guys are ever up this way feel free. Hi, as per the subject. Does anyone have any recommendations for the best value decking oil (Bunning is close to where I live) for a treated pine deck? Thanks 0 10972 Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 |
