Hey all,
My build is about to commence but I have since noticed that my block doesn't have any pegs in the ground to indicate the boundary. I had a guy come out to quote us for fencing as I want that up asap and I showed him the block measurements on our plans but he wants to go off the survey pegs which appear to be non existent. I called my builder to talk to him about it as I had no idea that I needed to even worry about that and he has mentioned that I might need to go out and get a surveyor to check it OR they may just go out and measure it themselves.
I feel a bit stupid about the whole thing as I had no idea I needed to even worry about this (first time building) and I just assumed the builder would get it all marked out when they started.
Forgive me if it's a really dumb question, but is this a standard/normal thing to have happen? Am I looking at having to spend a lot of money to rectify this?
The builder has told me to hang tight with it until they get back to me about it but it's bothering me.
