When they were fitting it, they should have realised it was heavy, but could be too late by then to attach a support beam. Keep an eye on it, if it has come off due to the weight, it will keep coming off again till you find a proper solution. Woo hoo! She did say that the valuation report mentioned there's still some painting touch-ups to be done, the mirror in our ensuite wasn't fitted, and the light in the garage needed to be fitted (maybe they just cut it down?) but that the builder said those things would be completed by today. But that sounds to me like our splashback and shower screens are in...can't wait for tonight's driveby! She said they are happy to process the cheque now and if we're not satisfied with the state of the house we should just not hand over the cheque. So hopefully all the issues are resolved before my independent inspection on Tuesday... This time in exactly 1 week we will be doing our handover!
