Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 11, 2015 9:39 am Hey everyone! I have had a little search and couldn't find a thread for our estate so I thought I would start one so we could share building stories and information. My boyfriend and I have purchased a block in the Gabriel's Run Third Release and are awaiting approval from the Private Certifier so we can get our build started. Would love to hear from others in the area Re: Building in The Hermitage (Gledswood Hills) 2Mar 11, 2015 6:05 pm Hi, me and my partner are also building here, it's our first home so it's pretty daunting. We're at the new entrance on Camden valley way, Hardy's Rise Second Release. We're waiting for registration so we can get started too, we're told to expect registration to be May-August. Who are you guys building with? Re: Building in The Hermitage (Gledswood Hills) 3Mar 13, 2015 10:40 am Oh how exciting! The Hermitage seem to be pretty on time with their registrations so at least you don't have too much longer to wait. Have you picked a builder yet? We are building with Adenbrook Homes and we can't wait to move into our new area! Re: Building in The Hermitage (Gledswood Hills) 4Mar 14, 2015 7:05 am Hi all just wanted to say hi My husband and I are looking to purchase land in the old el caballo blanco site - if it ever goes on sale lol! We will be building with McDonald Jones. Great to meet you and I hope you keep sharing your build as I need lots of inspiration lol Re: Building in The Hermitage (Gledswood Hills) 5Mar 16, 2015 9:57 pm melziix Oh how exciting! We are building with Adenbrook Homes and we can't wait to move into our new area! Hopefully! I think the fact that the land is right near the new entrance they will try and speed it up as much as possible. We chose McDonald Jones to build with, we are building the Havana 3. Which home are you building with Adenbrook? We looked into them before we went to MJ, some of they're designs and finishes were very impressive! Is your land registered already? It's exciting and daunting at the same time isn't it haha! Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11250 Thanks again Simeon for being so elaborate. Appreciate it. Its gives us a very idea. Kind Regards 4 3909 |
