I emailed the CLO today but she was absent and another one answered my email. Her response was great, lots of dates. The air conditioner gets installed on Monday. Paving is scheduled for the 2nd, painter is scheduled to come back on the 7th. Apparently insulation was done this last week. So looks like there is a few things planned in the next week or so. Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 183Nov 28, 2015 4:35 am Wow that's lots of progress in the next week or so - very encouraging Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 184Nov 28, 2015 9:56 pm Um Ma, someone left the back door open and in I went. It all looks great, the HWS control panel has been installed plus the NBN box thingo has been put in my wir. All the tiling looks pretty good. The worst bloody thing, when I left I managed to run off a tex screw so now I am driving around on my space saver spare until Monday. Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 185Nov 30, 2015 8:26 pm GRRR my split system air conditioner has been installed on the wrong wall today The guy building two doors down with Aussie Living is finding lots of errors or omissions. I now hope that there hasn't been lots covered over that I don't know about Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 186Dec 01, 2015 9:49 pm Turns out the air conditioner installer didn't even bother looking at a plan just guessed Air conditioner company have uninstalled the units today, not sure when they are putting it into the correct spot. Might be waiting for the paving to be installed first which should happen tomorrow. Now to see how they will repair the external and internal wall? At the moment there is a 8-10cm sized circle in the wall. Bit concerned about how they will fill the hole? Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 187Dec 05, 2015 3:12 pm Paving is done one of my neighbours is going to install the fences this week some time, one quote was just over $4 k for 23m of hardifence. So I will pay for most of the materials and neighbour will do the installation on both sides Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 188Dec 05, 2015 6:50 pm Paving already how quick was that! Have they fixed the hole in the wall yet where the aircon was installed incorrectly? CLO has told me they will replace the bricks where the hole is. Hopefully it looks ok.... My neighbour started our fencing today instead of costing me $2k it is costing me just under $1200 and the neighbour paid $200 but he is doing all the installation so I am pretty happy with that. Best part is that he was willing to install the side that isn't shared with him . Plus I went paint shopping yesterday, so I now have sealer and paint for my walls. I also got my daughter's Christmas present, she is getting a wall mural. Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 190Dec 08, 2015 4:46 am Love your floor tiles, Smiley, and I like how they've laid the tiles diagonally in the shower recess - it makes such a big difference. Lucky gifl she'll love that mural - I would too hehe Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 191Dec 20, 2015 11:31 pm I now have carpet and vinyl but still have a hole in the wall where the air conditioner was put in wrong spot. I really hope they don't drop plaster on my nice new vinyl. I love the colour of my vinyl but the carpet appears quite dark. The plastic is off the kitchen bench and I can see the shower screen in the ensuite, not sure about mirrors? Termite spray happened last week, I checked the meter box. Still to go - roller door on carport, fly screens, blinds, fix the wall. Not sure what else?? So bloody close and it's Christmas so nothing will happen for weeks Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 192Dec 23, 2015 1:10 am Hmm, interesting, went to check if anything happened today and noticed that there is little dots on the walls in various places? I think it's for the plaster to fix up spots, maybe he is due back soon? Plus the skip bin is gone. Mum of One South West WA Re: My first build South West WA - Taps, HWS 193Jan 05, 2016 9:28 am Happy New Year to everyone Between Christmas and New Year, the fly screens were installed and they look pretty good. Even though the office is closed there was someone at the house yesterday and he was very nice, he let me in my daughter can apparently read upside down because there was paperwork with pre PCI on it? Only waiting on blinds, garage door and fixing the wall. I am definitely in love with my vinyl flooring but the carpet is too dark Mum of One South West WA Bathroom renovation will likely include a back-to-corner bath and we’re considering a freestanding tap with hand-held shower such as the picture included.
