Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 841Nov 06, 2015 11:02 pm We've had a rough few days, my parents were I. A car accident which scared the crap out of them and us! Thankfully they are ok, but I'm worried my dad isn't going to want to drive again anytime soon. The accident wasn't their fault, they were stopped waiting for lights and a young bloke ran up the back of them, didn't even brake and was speeding. Any how, the only thing that's changed at ours is our new bins were delivered. I have been really hopeless with my phone and keep forgetting to take it. I guess I'm not expecting any changes at this point either! 4 sleeps till keys My topic thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76249&start=20#p1316378 Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 842Nov 07, 2015 12:24 am Sorry to hear about your parents. Glad no serious injuries. Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 844Nov 07, 2015 8:11 pm Oh gypsy what a terrible scare - but i'm so glad to hear they're ok. I hope your dad will get his confidence back soon too. 3 days omg that is just around the corner!!! Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 845Nov 08, 2015 1:57 pm Yay for keys gypsy! IssyandOzzy ____________________________ Our New Gen build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73924 Hi Issy, I'm not sure yet, we haven't gone and checked out prices yet, but I will definitely let you know when I find out. Thanks for your kind thoughts everyone, it's such an unexpected shock when something like that happens Anyway, I got to do a little retail therapy again today and went and got our new dishwasher. After lots of research I decided to go with the Ariston LFF8M123AUS, in the White. The only reason we went with the White is that it was automatically $300 cheaper for the exact same dishwasher in silver. I was tossing up between the Bosch but when I got there I discovered that the bottom of the inside of the Bosch machine is plastic not metal which is really strange! Also the Ariston had The better water and energy rating and is also proven to be much quieter. So I got the better dishwasher for the same price as the lower model in the silver! Just because there is nothing else to show you at this point hahaha! Also the front, I am really hoping that we get the front cleaned up? I'm a bit worried because the skip bin had been taken away and there is still a lot of rubbish at the front, did this happen to anyone else? I too would be shaken if it happened to me. alot of perth drivers are very impatient, they always have to speed no matter what the condition of the day is. But glad you and your parents are okay. I am glad they are ok. You are so close to keys now! We also have an Ariston dishwasher but in silver. Not sure if it's the same model. I hope it's as good as the reviews say it is. Our building journey viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77582 Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 850Nov 10, 2015 12:09 am Thanks MrsTerry and OM! Kron, I'm gonna ask our SS to get rid of the rubbish as its not exactly clean and free from building debris as it should be. I don't think that amount of rubbish left on site is acceptable. MrsTerry, the reviews swayed me too in the end! I think the only negative was about the cutlery tray hahaha, not a bad negative all things considered My topic thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76249&start=20#p1316378 Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 851Nov 10, 2015 2:04 am I had a nightmare last night that our house leaked when it rained, the kids bedrooms were literally under a foot of water, also the ceilings were coming down in parts and the cornices were unfolding like an accordion! Weird! I think they must be my subconscious fears hahaha. 2 more sleeps Re: Aussie Living - Singleton, WA ~ Keys 11/11 852Nov 10, 2015 11:19 am I have PCI tomorrow and the last 2 nights I've been having dreams/nightmares about PCI haha can't wait till key day to loom for them to start up again ugh.
