There must be some inside jobs happening. It happens too often to be a coincidence. Re: Building Monaco Q2 with Henley in Wollert 143Aug 09, 2015 8:16 pm They got in from back stacker door. If all of you decide to get timber stacker doors make sure you get deadbolts put up on top of them as soon as you get handover. Otherwise these doors are pretty easy to break into with just a screwdriver. I think its handwork of same ppl who installed appliances. Sorry to hear and you were so close to moving I hope your insurance sorts it out quickly for you Yep agree with the stackers, we were given the wrong keys on handover day for the stackers and had to wait nearly 2 weeks for the stegbar people to come over and fix the keys issue. While they were there they pulled my stackers off and i was shocked that it was so easy to take off hence why they were so popular with the thieves in my area... my poor neighbour had 4 of hers stolen within weeks. Second Build, this time with Carlisle 2016, can't wait! Since we're not planning to move until atleast a few days after handover while we sort out a few other things..is it possible to delay the installation of appliances in that case ? Can we organise this with our SS ? They install the appliances when you ask them to. I think you need to give them 4 days notice and its done only between mon to thu. I would highly suggest you to get the appliances after you move in and get cameras or something as soon as possible after handover. No not yet it's not easy to get insurance claim for stolen appliances specially in newly built homes. We have fixed our carpets got them steam cleaned. Waiting for insurance assessor to come and inspect. Have now realised how difficult it is to live without these appliances we take for granted.
