Our CSR just told us today prices increased this week for PD
I thought they put them up not long ago?!?!
Has anyone seen how much they put them up by?
Browse Forums Building A New House Re: PD prices increasing 3Jun 21, 2008 9:02 pm They have a tendency to increase them every couple of months (from memory, i think there was an increase in Nov last year and then Jan again)
Anyone know how much is the Cremorne selling after the increase ? Cheers Re: PD prices increasing 4Jun 21, 2008 9:06 pm They were last increased just after we signed up with them so that was mid-March. Think it went from $245,900 to $248,900 then.
WE HAVE PIPES! Happy at Home Re: PD prices increasing 5Jun 21, 2008 9:07 pm We were quoted $248900 for the Cremorne and that was last Sunday. When we first looked at the Cremorne it was $245,900, so you would think it would go up to about $251900....I hopoe we get it for the price we were quoted on the weekend though... My karma ran over your dogma Re: PD prices increasing 6Jun 21, 2008 9:10 pm House-To-Be They were last increased just after we signed up with them so that was mid-March. Shouldn't price be stable or even dropping if there is a slowdown ? Re: PD prices increasing 8Jun 21, 2008 9:12 pm haywgl We were quoted $248900 for the Cremorne and that was last Sunday. If you have already paid the $600 deposit, they will have to honour the original price. However, if you have not, it will be within their rights to charge the new price. Cheers Re: PD prices increasing 13Jun 21, 2008 10:07 pm Wow, prices on the cremorne41 have changed. We locked ours in at $231,900, just prior the Nov price increase.
PD are flat out, demand is higher compared to this time last year. I can just imagine, option prices are also steadily increasing. Re: PD prices increasing 14Jun 21, 2008 10:42 pm We paid $245,900 which is totally irrelevant once you add on site costs, developers requirements and upgrades!
Andy, how are things going with your house? Still aiming for Wednesday to move in? Happy at Home Re: PD prices increasing 15Jun 21, 2008 10:43 pm Woo, their prices jump every few months. i think awallace you are right, demand more than supply.

We have paid our $600 a month ago but just want to be doubly sure. Re: PD prices increasing 17Jun 22, 2008 9:17 am mikkyG Well that's good news! How sure are you of that? We have paid our $600 a month ago but just want to be doubly sure. As far as we were told, the $600 locked in your price and the site start month. So, should be pretty good if you have paid in your deposit. Penny73 exactly what did prices did your CSR say have increased ? Re: PD prices increasing 19Jun 22, 2008 10:04 am rellie I will repeat, the house prices HAVE NOT risen ! I'm hearing you Rellie Happy at Home Re: PD prices increasing 20Jun 22, 2008 10:07 am If demand for housing is dropping, and this one builder is "really" experiencing increased demand then the others must be experiencing a big drop in demand. Maybe shopping around will uncover some better priced houses.
