Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 101Sep 23, 2015 8:42 am That sounds like good news & we could do with some of that Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 105Sep 24, 2015 8:00 am I havent been able to confirm if the tests are already done or if they will be done by our appointment. The language in the email suggested that the results are already in but I will let everyone know once I have confirmation. I also forgot to put this update on the facebook page but I see it has already been conveyed there. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 106Sep 24, 2015 9:19 am I asked if anyone else had got the tests done but no one else has yet, I'm still waiting for Carlisle to return my call to see if ours were done too, we're stage 3 as well so you would think being the same builder they'd do them at the same time Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 107Sep 25, 2015 4:58 pm I have asked our liaison person & they say no-one can get on there to get soil tests. We are building with Boutique, stage 2 Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 108Oct 05, 2015 9:43 am I have finally got a reply from Carlisle. They claim that soil tests have been done by survey report is not available as they have not been able to survey the lot due to it not being titled. This has now delayed our tender. They have given us a date in December which I am upset about and will talk to them. However, I cant really do much till the title happens. Does anyone have any updates on that? Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 109Oct 05, 2015 10:05 am We've still got our tender appointment tomorrow with Carlisle even though they don't have soil tests done yet. They said they don't normally do it, but said because of the circumstances we can have our tender and if anything needs to be changed at the contract appointment they will allow it because it was out of our control. I'd be pushing to still have your tender appointment. Did you see the update I put on the Facebook group about soil tests? Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 110Oct 12, 2015 7:40 pm Getting exciting now.....7-21 days & titled for us in stage 1 & 2 Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 115Oct 15, 2015 6:22 pm It looks like the titles will come through in November for stage 3 in that case. I have booked overseas trip in November, bad timing. What do i do now.Gotta wait till I come back. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 117Oct 16, 2015 5:24 pm Thanks kylzpaul, I have spoken to my coveyancer today, they are ok with it, they also got confirmation from bpg that if my presence was required then they can delay the title until December. Now i gotta get my finances sorted and sign contract with carlisle on 26th of Oct.I will be very happy if its all done without delay. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 119Oct 16, 2015 6:59 pm Actually i went for fixed cost from the start just to be on the safe side. But i don't think there would be any major surprises for you as the land looks pretty good. Good luck!
