Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 41Jul 12, 2015 4:44 pm Hi we heard that too about Linda when we rang the other day, which is a little sad she was a nice lady. Anyways about the intersection I'll believe that when I see it. We've been promised too many things before. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 42Jul 12, 2015 7:42 pm Actually, upon consideration, I don't think she said 'intersection' sorry if I misled you. She said, estate 'main entry' (on Berwick-Cranbourne Road). Oops. Sorry about that!! She said there are lights down the road and a roundabout on Patterson Road, so the entry of Highgrove will not have traffic lights anytime soon. She said the main entry is starting construction on Monday and will take 5 weeks. Once completed titles will start going out and we will be able to see our land. Yayyy I wish it was an intersection with lights though!! Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 43Jul 13, 2015 2:26 pm So they arn't doing lights now....that's what Linda told us a while back & that it had been knocked back 4 times already by Vic Roads as the plans weren't right. Anyways wish they would just get on with it, don't really care what they do with the entry so as long as there is one so we can get our titles & start building. Went past today but nothing happening probably due to poor weather. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 44Jul 13, 2015 7:55 pm I spoke to the development manager on Saturday and he said they got approval for entrance and 2 hours after they started work on it they hit a main water pipe so they had to fix that first. But he told me that the work had started again on entrance. Stage 3 is still expected to be titled in September or early October. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 45Jul 14, 2015 4:21 pm Our start date with carlisle is in December. I expected delays and hope it does not stretch more. September will be ideal, october will be ok but if it comes to november, I dont want to be rushed between tender and contract. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 46Jul 14, 2015 5:09 pm Ours will be roughly the same with Boutique should be ready June/July worst case scenario. Sounds so far away!!! All our paperwork is done contracts, tender & colours just waiting on title. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 47Jul 14, 2015 5:20 pm Sorry when I say June/July I mean the whole completion of the build. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 49Jul 17, 2015 4:53 pm Hi Arcain, This is what i found on real estate website. Prices are pretty much the same. https://m.realestate.com.au/project-hig ... -600004523 And for overall clyde north, the property value has gone down a little in the past one year http://www.realestate.com.au/neighbourh ... h-3978-vic Hope we get good valuation from banks Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 51Jul 17, 2015 6:51 pm Very interesting, thanks for that info. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 52Jul 21, 2015 8:50 pm Very disappointed with the lack of communication from Linda. If things are out of her control, she certainly doesn't care to notify those who bought land last year. Same thing for street name change, she didn't give $### to keep us informed. I have to learn the latest updates through that forum. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 53Jul 22, 2015 5:22 am I really don't thinks it's Linda's fault at all, it's the developers you should be angry at. Linda is just the sales lady & by the way she has now left BPG. There is an update coming in the next few days about where we are at & I've heard there is yet another delay...stage 2 is now due to title September which means everyone else will be pushed back. Has anyone heard that Lothbury Dr was pushed closer to the main Rd by 3 metres? I heard this from my future neighbour, just curious cause no one had bothered to tell us this & can they do this? If I wanted to be closer to the main Rd I would've bought my land closer to the main Rd!!!! This would mean all adjoining Rds would be closer too. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 54Jul 22, 2015 10:06 am This is a major issue for me. The reason we selected the block we have it because we wanted it to be on the intersection. If lothbury drive is shifted 3m, that would move the intersection from our block. I might need to make an appointment with Megan and ask these questions. @Alley, about your question a few months ago. I looked at the draft of costs I got and it looks like they have kept the site cost value at around 8k and 6K for OH&S Have color browse this weekend. will update after that. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 55Jul 22, 2015 7:03 pm Sorry I don't think you understood me when I said about Lothbury being moved. This would already be done and yes it would mean that it's closer to the intersection...sorry maybe it's the way I explained it, a bit hard to put it into words. The intersection isn't moving but apparently Lothbury is now 3 metres closer to that intersection if you get what I mean. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 56Jul 22, 2015 7:25 pm Remember that person that told me could be very wrong & it was probably moved already before we even bought our land. Maybe when they bought their land roads weren't finalised yet etc so that's why we never got told anything. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 57Jul 23, 2015 9:03 am Sorry, i didnt mean our lot was at the main intersection. We are at lot 330 which is opposite Kelton. If lothbury shifts 3 m, then I assume Kelton would shift 3m as well and then it might mean that Kelton is not in front of our lot but a little to the side. Will have a chat with Megan this weekend and see whats going on. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 58Jul 24, 2015 1:28 pm Another delay?? Carlisle have pushed our tender appointment back to October now because BPG won't let anyone get soil samples until settlement so who knows what kind of delays that will add to the build as well. Has everyone joined the facebook group for the estate that I posted about a while ago? Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 59Jul 24, 2015 1:39 pm That is just absurd. This delay is costing a lot of people a lot of money. I haven't joined your group as I don't have facebook. Re: Highgrove estate - Clyde North, Melbourne 60Jul 24, 2015 1:51 pm When we built in Cascades on Clyde they let the builders get their soil samples before settlement so that building could commence straight away as soon as it settled. I think I'll be going down tomorrow to have a chat with them, I want to know what the hell is going on. Hi, can anyone recommend a custom home builder who can build in north east area?
