We have also heard some horror stories! Whilst we are not even sure if we will go down this path, I thought it would be a good idea to hear opinions (mostly positive, I hope!) or experiences in regards to building so that we can try to avoid said horror stories! Re: Home and Land package review 2Feb 27, 2015 1:39 pm Hi angejlee, I'm not sure the trend in WA in so far as House and Land Packages (H&L) are concerned but on the East Coast (NSW) the general vibe is that its good but prepare to upgrade a few things to get the home (rather than just a house) you want. Builders here in general tend to provide the basic inclusions and you're faced with the often grim choice between inhabitable to habitable.
