Interesting (thinking out loud) does that mean that folks in the releases after you guys should factor in a valuation drop then? Because a prices increased with every release...

Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 686May 06, 2016 3:45 pm Nope nothing till date...hoping to get a call mid month Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 687May 16, 2016 1:06 pm For Greenbank collection did anyone receive a heads up from Frasers property to keep the finances sorted? Did you guys from Lakeview receive such an update before your presettlment inspection? Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 688May 16, 2016 1:22 pm Yes I got a call from Bernie last week saying that some banks are slow so you might want to start thinking about getting your finances sorted..i went for drive by there and walked around the greenbank collection houses...those houses closer to the display units would look like the ones to get settled first...my house on putters way still looks a fair bit away from being completed..however, the opposite boulevard houses seems to have come up really good and fast and i would say at a very similar phase as mine... Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 689May 16, 2016 1:26 pm Interesting to know that. As you said before may be they want settle houses close to each other from different releases at the same time as people might get disturbed. Well good to hear settlement will be in the next 2-3 months Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 690May 16, 2016 1:56 pm http://i68.tinypic.com/2vlo9zd.jpg[/IMG] http://i66.tinypic.com/29ut1ua.jpg[/IMG] Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ imageupload Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ image hosting over 10mb Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ upload pic Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ click image upload Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ image free hosting Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ how to take a screen shot Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ pic hosting Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ screen shots Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ adult photo sharing Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ greenshot Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ photo hosting Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ photo upload Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ screen shot Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ uploadimage Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ image upload no resize Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 691May 16, 2016 1:57 pm Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ image hosting over 10mb Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ photos upload Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 692May 16, 2016 1:59 pm found the above "improvements/modification" info at fairwater, so took some images to share it with all here in case not aware of it. There was other info as well for 3 bedroom properties and studios but I did not take any images of those... Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 693May 16, 2016 4:58 pm Thanks DASI The information you have forwarded does not seem to be " product improvements" but appears to be a bit of cost cutting ? I've purchased an urban terrace and not particularly happy that they are substituting the timber French doors for aluminium. What is your impression on these changes are they better for us buyers, or not? Cheers Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 694May 16, 2016 5:18 pm Well it was called "product improvements"..depends on the buyer whether the changes are better or not..for me there are some stuff here which are improvements like the cabinetry in the laundry room and obscured glass in some of the powder rooms etc...i would not be happy with aluminium doors either...I bought an urban terrace from the greenbank collection so thankfully this does not effect me (hopefully)...pity they are taking away the fans in the studio too..I personally like the skylight but it seems like some houses may not get it now...I would also prefer the ceiling height to be 2.7m and not the new lower measure of 2.4m..I think we have no choice in these changes as the contract says that the developer has the right to do changes within certain limits.. after walking around some of the completed houses yesterday, i noticed that for some houses the main door colours were like yellow, green, red...was this choice of the buyers or was it random...I personally do not like any of these colours for the main door, I even saw a yellow coloured balcony, which I thought was weird...please be aware this is a personal opinion...However, the point is I wonder whether we have the option to say to them to change the colour of the main door or balcony if we dont like it.... Wonder what the reasons were to do most of these changes from the Boulevard collection onwards Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 695May 16, 2016 6:00 pm Thanks again DASI, I plan to go to Fairwater sales centre this weekend to have a closer look. I may also get in touch with Debbie at Cutomer Relations to find out more. She was helpful a couple months ago when I had questions about the fire and noise ratings for the common walls between the terraces and the metros. I think from a customer service point of view that they could email us and let us know how our homes are affected. Just good business practice. I agree about the door colours some are out there but that is my personal preference. I think a nice wooden door like the homes at Bunya would suit Fairwater homes much better. The kitchen cabinet height is the only difference I see for Greenbank. Did you notice anything else? Hi Binca....my pre settlement inspection is today and I am settling next Monday Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 699May 17, 2016 1:11 pm Binca Oh wow. Thats less than a week between inspection and settlement. Exciting times ahead for you. Enjoy Thanks Re: Fairwater in Blacktown by Australand 700May 17, 2016 2:08 pm Hi, Anyone been through the process of getting the New Home Grant (5k discount towards stamp duty)? I read about it in OSR's website but neither Fairwater ppl nor my lawyer informed me about the grant. Per the OSR website, the application for the grant must be lodged withing 3 months of signing the contract, is that correct? Also, can you only get one grant per financial year (even if you have bought multiple off the plan properties)? Would appreciate your thoughts. Cheers Kazi |
