Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Harpley Estate 130Nov 22, 2015 10:25 am I am in my final stages and received the builders approval in less than 24 hrs. Harpley modified my landscaping plan by adding stuff to it and approved it without my consent. For example, they added stones in certain areas where I had grass, etc. not sure if I am now bound to follow as they modified it? It does not look look good to me. How firm is Harpley and the council when it comes to sticking to to approved landscaping plan? Any experience to share? Also, how much time the building permit takes? We need to get the slab done before they close for Christmas. Am I being optimistic? Re: Harpley Estate 131Nov 25, 2015 3:08 pm dont think the burnt car should be much of a concern personally. it looks like that car was stolen from somewhere else and dumped there due to the inactivity in the area so as there are no witnesses - well, I hope that's the case Re: Harpley Estate 132Nov 26, 2015 12:47 am 1HB I am in my final stages and received the builders approval in less than 24 hrs. From experience, I am yet to see a developer and/or council that does not have flexibility with the landscape plan when it comes down to actually implementing the design when it comes down to it. Carrying out the design to exact specifications based off the landscape plan is not easy as you'll often find other challenges once your home is built. As long as any changes you make still fit their design guidelines, you should be fine. If you're in doubt, give Lend Lease a call, they'll be able to confirm. $395 Fixed Priced Landscape Plans for DA M: 0435 127 244 | W: bluegumdesign.com.au | E: info@bluegumdesign.com.au Residential | Commercial | Industrial Re: Harpley Estate 133Nov 26, 2015 12:48 pm Anyone had any feedback from either the council or lend lease re the car being removed? It looks bloody awful. I'm not concerned about the safety behind it but more the fact that I'm not embarrassed to ask if friends and family want to look at our new place when they have to drive past it. Not an awesome image. Re: Harpley Estate 134Dec 04, 2015 10:43 pm kbandcb Anyone had any feedback from either the council or lend lease re the car being removed? It looks bloody awful. Re: Harpley Estate 135Dec 06, 2015 7:26 pm Hello Everyone We build with Watersun Homes on shipwright parade and now in frame stage, Slab done on 28/11/2015. David from Darbecca did our slab inspection (which we couldn't attend because of work) gave us the report with minor faults which were rectified as per him and watersun. We hope it's true. Went to check our house today and were surprised to see that the frame was up already. That was pretty quick in 1 week. Anne at lend lease told us that 2 families have already moved in. That's great news. Also 2 display homes are open as well. Hopefully by the time we move in our neighbours will be there as well. Is anyone on shipwright parade stage 1 here on this forum? Hi My friends are moving at the end of this month in that Carlisle Homes house on Shipwright. Re: Harpley Estate 137Dec 17, 2015 5:04 pm We are building and will soon move to Harpley. We have a child who would be attending Primary School. I am wondering if someone researched on schools that we would be zoned to. I know we are zoned to St. Andrews but not sure if they will take us in mid year. The closest state school is wyndham vale primary school but is quite new. Any info will be useful.
