Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 20, 2015 9:48 am Hi everyone, we will be building with Ashford Homes in the outer east of Melbourne a bit later this year. The front facade of our house has (the seemingly obligatory) two front pillars. We were going to render these but don't want to have to maintain the render in future years, especially as we would prefer a lighter render colour, which seems to need more maintenance than darker colours. So, we are considering tiling them instead. For those that have tiles on the front of their houses, can you tell me if you had to pick a certain type of tile? ie only 'outdoor' tiles or only 'wall' tiles? Our interior tile floor supplier is Beaumont Tiles so I will assume that we would get them from there also. Thanks!
