That way you can tell him which tile to lay? We are in a similar predicament. We hated all the cheap and nasty tiles our builder was offering! We have bought our own and will be negotiating with the tile to lay ours instead with a bit of extra $ his way. The builder also mentioned that we COULD take tiling out of our contract and provide our own tiler. There would be a way around it That's a fantastic result!
