Sorry but having dealt with Burbank and negotiated a number of changes to the contract, the build, inclusions, post contract variations and more, I can say that they are willing to be flexible if you go about it the right way and with the right people. How successful it is depends on your negotiating technique with the people that can actually effect the change and not "jumping up and down" with the admin assigned to you. We are in a similar predicament. We hated all the cheap and nasty tiles our builder was offering! We have bought our own and will be negotiating with the tile to lay ours instead with a bit of extra $ his way. The builder also mentioned that we COULD take tiling out of our contract and provide our own tiler. There would be a way around it That's a fantastic result!
