Make sure you read and understand what you sign especially clauses like this one: snip... any additional costs incurred by the Builder including the Builder's overheads, over the PPA Price upon receipt of a written request for payment. The Owner acknowledges that the PPA price may not cover the costs incurred by the Builder undertaking the Work and that the Owner may be required to pay additional costs if they are Incurred by the Builder in order to complete the Work ...snap Our builder just advised us that we'll get a hefty bill if we don't sign up with them for the work they have done so far and pointed out the clause on the PPA which we had signed a while back.
