Thanks Megera, our block size is 720sqm and yard is 20m long by about 15m?? Can't wait to get some grass down to stop the dust! Can't wait to get some grass down to stop the dust! Your grass looks like it's growing growing! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread That's a great amount of room! Do you have any plans for the space or just grass for now? I know what you mean about the dust!! ugh! I hate to think how much of our 8cu of dirt blew away and blew into the house! I was changing the baby's shirt like three times a day because he'd crawl across the tiles and get absolutely covered! Make sure you get a good sprinkler for your turf, we got a cheapie pope one from Bunnings and I don't recommend it, it's constantly popping off the hose! Most nights I end up just watering the yard with the sprayer on the hose but I think it would take you 600 years trying to do that much yard by hand! Our grass is coming along well! The bits that have clumped are thickening up nicely. Not sure how much growth we'll see with the cooler weather but hopefully it will keep filling in! If not how much did it cost and how was payment split with your neighbours? ? Re: Myponga Build - Statesman Homes - KEYS!!! 251Apr 17, 2016 8:36 pm Michelle83 Hi lishaun, Just wondering if the land agent paid for the fence? If not how much did it cost and how was payment split with your neighbours? 😃 Hi Michelle, No we paid for the fence (the entire cost as we were the first to put a fence up). We paid about $8300 for good neighbour fencing with concrete plinths underneath and a gate. We paid for it abd then have received payment from most neighbours already. We split it by calculating the cost of each side (minus the gate) and dividing it by half. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Building with Statesman Homes in Myponga, SA View our thread here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Re: Myponga Build - Statesman Homes - KEYS!!! 252Apr 22, 2016 7:41 am Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Downlights got put in yesterday! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Building with Statesman Homes in Myponga, SA View our thread here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Re: Myponga Build - Statesman Homes - KEYS!!! 253Apr 22, 2016 9:37 pm Nice!! I'm building a very similar home to yours and at the point of completing my colour selections later this week. Just wondering if you could tell me the colour of your garage door and roof colour? Hi Matts, thank you where abouts are you building? Are you building with Statesman too? Our roof colour is woodland grey and garage door is dune. Good luck with selections! My other half didn't take any time off work, we moved on his regular days off. It's hard getting unpacked with kids underfoot! Also, we need so much more storage at this house! There's a lot of stuff we can't unpack yet because we don't have shelves to put it on! Slowly, slowly! Our garage is pretty feral too, we're not planning on parking in there anyway but it would be nice to get the table tennis table set up Id like to get some storage shelving too to get the Christmas decorations and stuff up off the floor. We are still so happy to be in our own place! Now that we've been in a few months we are figuring out what works and what doesn't as far as furniture/etc. Our neighbours on the one side have moved in and got their landscaping done with their build so the pressure is on us now haha We built the Rathdowne with Simonds Express in Western Melbourne Site start Oct. 2015 Keys Jan. 25th, 2015 My build thread -here- Re: Myponga Build - Statesman Homes - KEYS!!! 258Apr 25, 2016 12:38 pm lishaun Matts Hi lishaun, Your new home is looking great. Re: Myponga Build - Statesman Homes - KEYS!!! 260Nov 30, 2016 1:15 pm Thank you so much for documenting your experience! We have just received our colour selections book from Statesman and we are totally impressed with the standard options! We are building the Felixstow Alfresco out at Two Wells. Sel - I'd love to hear how your build went and how long it took etc! This forum makes me so excited for our build to start!! Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense.
