I love your floor boards, Congrats, it wonderful when you can get what you really want, makes us so much happier, lol your house is looking amazing lishaun, I went by your house on the weekend and noticed how many light fixtures you have in the kitchen/dining, are they suppose to be downlights or are you changing them over yourself?? Does that mean only about 3 weeks until PCI?? Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 170Jan 19, 2016 2:38 pm Sel Hi, back again, been off for a few days, yes the trenches are dug and the footings are scheduled for 21st this week, so excited, we are going down there tonight! Yeh my dad is a sparky so he will be putting in downlights after handover. Haha it does look a bit crazy with all the baton holders in there! I'm not sure about how much longer. Maybe about 6-7weeks left? Plus 2weeks for the extra stuff we are doing ourselves? It's so exciting going down there to see! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Building with Statesman Homes in Myponga, SA View our thread here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 171Jan 23, 2016 1:16 am Interior tiling is finished! So far these are the things I can think of: Tiling to verandah and alfresco Painting - inside and out Plumbing fit off (taps/basins etc) Shower screens Mirrors to both bathrooms Oven/stove Final fix to powerpoints Panel lift door to be installed Door handles Store cavity door to be installed Just trying to gauge what else there is to do and how long it might take. We were told we have about 6 weeks til handover...does all this really taje that long? Cheers! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Building with Statesman Homes in Myponga, SA View our thread here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 173Jan 24, 2016 2:08 pm lishaun Hey, just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what is left to do. Not only do they have to finish that list but they will also have a list of stuff to do when you go through for PCI (& PCI2), plus giving the place a good clean. THEN depending on how on the ball they are you need to wait for OP & final invoice & the bank. Our PCI to keys (Dec 17-Jan 25) really stretched and a good chunk of Jan 6th until now has been waiting or paperwork, submitting paperwork, and more waiting. Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 176Jan 28, 2016 4:43 pm Hi Lishaun, after they missed placing an extra drain in the slab was delayed for 1 week but now......yes a slab was poured yesterday!!! But it looks so small! It doesn't help when we went looking at some other houses afterwards in your street and they were HUGE! Waiting on timber to be delivered in the next 2 weeks for framing to start. Any news with you?? Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 177Jan 28, 2016 5:54 pm lishaun Thanks for that Megera. Ugh I feel that this is now the slowest stage lol. When are you moving into your place? I felt the same way! There was so much not happening or things happening in drips and drabs rather than the full-on action we were used to. Didn't help that things hadn't quite started back up from Christmas/New Year. We're moving in on Monday! My other half can't take any time off work right now so we're moving in on his days off. We've been out there every day this week (twice yesterday!) and I've been trying to take a car load of stuff every time. We don't have a lot of stuff at the IL's but the less we need to move on Monday, the better (our stuff from storage is being delivered on Monday too). Waiting on timber to be delivered in the next 2 weeks for framing to start. Any news with you?? Ohhhh so exciting! Don't worry we thought the same about our slab - and then the frame goes up and then it feels huge. Then shrinks a bit more with walls haha. That's annoying about the missing pipe, but at least it's done now. I bet you're keen for the frames to go up! Well this has been the slowest week we've had so far! Tiling has been finished...but nothing else has happened. I'm assuming paintwork will be next but can't get an answer about when etc. So hopefully some painting happens next week our little street is going crazy right now - they pop up so fast! viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Building with Statesman Homes in Myponga, SA View our thread here: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75840&view=unread#unread Re: Lisa and Shaun's Statesman Cumberland Alfresco Build Myp 179Jan 30, 2016 9:43 pm Megera lishaun Thanks for that Megera.
