I didn't want anything like blocks or similar but needed something more durable than the plastic edging. https://www.bunnings.com.au/tuff-edge-2 ... k_p3300272 Re: Home Group WA - WE ARE IN! 1423Aug 20, 2016 10:04 pm Are you still decking the portico? I still want to deck arch but really want duralife composite but can't justify the price, just don't want the up keep of natural decking but the price is making me want to go natural. I did think the decking with lights would look good but think it will be a later job at the moment Re: Home Group WA - WE ARE IN! 1425Aug 21, 2016 2:40 pm Natalie92 Decka I bought that aluminum edging from bunnings, I think there are different heights and you will be able to whipper snipper up to it. For the gap under the fencing I ended up installing plinths from Gramline in rockingham, you just cut it to size. A bit of a pain installing it after the fact because you have to pull the panels out, but if you get in well with the neighbours you can split the cost. We are looking at it as a much cheaper option then brick wall. For the BBQ area we are wanting it to look like there is a brick wall rendered behind it but it seems the easiest and most cost effective is to put some posts into the ground and attach hardiflex and then either get texture coat render on it or paint with a textured paint 4 14463 We already paid for somfy motors for the blinds.
