I am excited about having curtains again though. Which I will have lined with block out material. Personally I'd rather live in it and see what I want in each space. I have enough furniture for now so just get what I need, when I need it. Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 924Jan 09, 2016 8:57 pm I can't wait to buy stuff for the new house. So bummed out we are missing out on the sales. Could have saved a fortune. Bloody builder. Haven't got a date yet koll SS is back tomorrow so he will then complete his inspection and we will get a PCI date. They have always said first week of feb so still hoping for that? Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 931Jan 10, 2016 1:06 pm Wow I would have thought it would be done well and truly before then!! My SS said we would have PCI mid Feb but I have heaps to go still so I can't see that happening!! It must be so exciting to see everything coming together My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 932Jan 10, 2016 1:08 pm koll1 Wow I would have thought it would be done well and truly before then!! It must be so exciting to see everything coming together I'm hoping we can have PCI not this week coming but the week after as then my partner is home and really want to be able to both do the inspection as we don't think we will get a building inspector anymore. If can't do that week he is gone for another 3 weeks so don't want to do by myself if we can avoid it Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 933Jan 10, 2016 1:30 pm Fingers crossed for you then . I am sure it can't be to far away !! My Home Group build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=77067 Re: Home Group WA - Nearly Finished ? 934Jan 10, 2016 1:39 pm If you can afford it Nat get the building inspector. A good one is worth every cent and the builder takes an inspector report seriously. They pick up little things we didn't pick up. At the time we were hesitant about spending that kind of money but it was truly worth it at the end of the build.
