Building Carmel 23 http://www.fairmonthomesnsw.com.au/home-designs/carmel# Sample plan Re: Building with "Fairmont Homes NSW". 4May 14, 2015 9:45 pm ShannaLK That's a neat little plan wall-e. I'm building a similar sized house with Hotondo but I think I like your plan better LOL Thanks. This one is narrow and small block. This design suit better for this land. Your house is so wide and look very nice. B1 is one end others in other end. I like that design Re: Building with "Fairmont Homes NSW". 5May 15, 2015 8:25 am I'm building the same house. We are signing our building contract next week and are just finalizing our upgrades. We closed the pantry and are having a cavity slider door that opens into the hallway instead. Went with the raked ceiling. We also changed the main bathroom so it's a little bigger. I think, It is a good idea to close the pantry. It will give you a more space in WIP. I have considered merging main bathroom but wife does not like the it. Prefer to keep separate WC and included a small hand basin inside WC. We though about skylights in the family/meal area but after going to the display home we decided we would use the family area for dining and are going to ask for a bigger window in the family room Re: Building with "Fairmont Homes NSW". 15Jun 23, 2015 12:41 pm cwin11 How much did they charge you for the workbench and window in the wip? Where you are building? Re: Building with "Fairmont Homes NSW". 18Jun 24, 2015 9:46 am Hey Wall-e, what are you planning to do about storage in the laundry? Opening that wall will really limit our storage in there and I was wondering if you had any ideas about how you will make it work. I was thinking we'll have to buy a front load washer and mount the dryer on the wall or on top of the washer. Hoping for ideas on how to get some additional shelving Building with Fairmont NSW - Carmel 23 Emerald Hills NSW Build Contract signed 23/05 Re: Building with "Fairmont Homes NSW". 20Jun 24, 2015 5:42 pm Shotgun Hey Wall-e, what are you planning to do about storage in the laundry? Opening that wall will really limit our storage in there and I was wondering if you had any ideas about how you will make it work. I was thinking we'll have to buy a front load washer and mount the dryer on the wall or on top of the washer. Hoping for ideas on how to get some additional shelving Thanks for raising this . We have recently bought a miele front loader washing machine so will buy a dryer and put on top this. I do think there is much space to put next to next so we can put a shelving on top of these . Yee storage is going to be interesting in laundry room. We have to do small shelving at least for liquids (Cubing shelving ??) and keep and basket for dirty clothes. We have not given enough thought on this and will do any shelving after handover. Let us if you got any other idea Hi all, We are considering Enigma 46 from Mojo Homes in Gables, NSW.
